Lemlem has been serving Cure Blindness Project from December 2020 as Project Manager on contract basis and as fulltime Program Manager since February 2022. She is responsible to manage different projects and programs, support procurement & inventory management system and advocacy works.

Prior to Cure Blindness Project, Lemlem served Eye Bank of Ethiopia (EBE) as a Director from February 2012 – January 2022. EBE is the only Eye Bank in Sub-Saharan Africa, and it is one of the leading and growing eye banks in the African continent. During her stay at EBE, she directs the overall operations including human resource management, operations, grant management, quality assurance, project management, local & international relations.

Before joining EBE, Lemlem served Unity University at a capacity of program manager, head of programs and as a secretary to manage office routine activities. Lemlem has specialized in management and leadership skills and operations at different hierarchy in both academic and eye health care.

Executive program certificate in leadership essentials and team dynamics, participation in different local and international seminars, meetings & fellowship programs, completion of different trainings helped her to develop her skills on eye health care in general.

Lemlem has an academic background of Master of Business Administration (MBA), BA in Management and Diploma in Secretarial Science and Office Management. She is married and a mother of three boys and a daughter.
