Chris Holzshu is an operational leader with extensive financial expertise and over 25 years of experience in senior leadership roles in public companies. Chris currently serves as the Executive Vice President for Lithia & Driveway (NYSE listed LAD), where he leads development and growth initiatives. With a passion for high performance Chris has been instrumental in executing the ambitious growth strategy leading operations to build one of the largest global automotive retailers.
Chris joined Lithia & Driveway in 2003 and over his 20-plus years with the company, he has held several senior leadership roles, including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Human Resource Officer, and Chief Operating Officer. Throughout his tenure, Chris has expertly integrated hundreds of new locations domestically and internationally, and developed unique performance-management systems that ensure the seamless alignment of strategy, culture, organizational structure and execution. Chris enjoys working with individuals at all levels, igniting operations potential and driving individual performance. Leveraging his passion for people and transparent, direct communication, he is quick to build relationships with partners that have been instrumental to organizations massive growth.
Originally from Kodiak Island, Alaska, Chris spent several years commercial fishing full time before returning to college and pursue a degree in business. Chris graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Alaska and was a licensed CPA. He began his professional career with KPMG, focusing on automotive, financial services, and retail sectors.
