Chris Holzshu is a former Fortune 150 C-suite executive with more than 25 years of experience leading large-scale growth, integration, and operational performance in hyper growth public companies. After two decades in senior leadership roles at Lithia & Driveway—including COO, CHRO, CFO, —he now focuses on strategic advisory work, board governance, and mission-driven leadership.
Chris is the majority owner and Executive Chairman of Vessel Vanguard, a marine technology company advancing vessel management and safety through innovative digital solutions. He also serves on the boards of Wheels, Inc. and Pinewood Technologies Group, PLC, where he provides expertise in strategy, M&A, governance, financial oversight, and organizational performance.
Originally from Kodiak Island, Alaska, Chris began his career as a commercial fisherman before earning his accounting degree and working in public accounting with KPMG. He brings to Cure Blindness Project a deep commitment to scalable impact, operational excellence, and expanding access to high-quality eye care in underserved communities worldwide.
