Teketel Mathiwos joined HCP as the Program Director of the Ethiopia office in July 2016.
Teketel previously worked for World Vision for almost a decade in different roles such as project manager, M&E specialist, reporting and knowledge management officer, community development facilitator and economic and business development facilitator. He has experience across several sectors including health, water sanitation and hygiene, food security, education, and emergency projects. Teketel also served as a teacher for several years instructing on subjects including economics, business, and mathematics.
Teketel holds a Master of Arts in project management as well as a BA in Economics in agricultural engineering and mechanization.
