Mekdelawit has several years of experience working with the United Nations and non-profit organizations. Prior to joining HCP, Mekdelawit managed the procurement unit of the UNDP Regional Service Centre of Africa and Ethiopia. She also has professional experience in strategic sourcing, international procurement, and oversight and policy advisement from her work with international organizations.
Mekdelawit holds a master’s degree from the University of Turin, School of Development, Italy and holds a Level 4 certification from Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, UK.
