Your gift to Cure Blindness Project brings hope to needlessly blind people waiting for care. Unrestricted gifts allow us to allocate our resources most efficiently and where the needs are greatest. Donations are 100% tax deductible.
If you have questions or would like to speak to a member of the Development team, please email or call 888-287-8530.
Donating stocks allows you to avoid capital gains tax and often take a charitable deduction for the full value of the asset.
If you are 70.5 or older, giving from your IRA helps reduce your taxable income — and for those over 73 who must take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), an IRA gift is a simple way to fulfill it!
Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) are investment accounts for the sole purpose of supporting charitable organizations today. If you have a DAF, you can use this secure DAF giving tool to make your impact today.
We now accept donations of Ethereum, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies! This gives us one more way to fund our work and can provide you with extra tax benefits.
Cure Blindness Project is able to accept a wide array of assets as contributions. Below you will find information on additional ways that you can help us to eradicate curable blindness throughout the world.

Many people who have undergone cataract surgery like to pay it forward by making a gift to support our work. Please ask your eye care provider if they participate in the Global Partners Program and accept donations from their patients who want to provide the gift of sight to someone in need in an under-resourced country. You may also make a donation by clicking here.
Cure Blindness Project invites ophthalmologists and ophthalmology practices to join the Global Partners Program to cure blindness to those living outside the United States. Annual commitment levels are Silver ($10K), Gold ($25K) and Platinum ($50K). Partners receive ready-to-use curated content for their communications. Content frequency is based on commitment level. Other program materials include a designed patient brochure, factsheet, poster, electronic badge and press release/patient email templates.
