A $25 donation can provide the material cost of one sight-restoring surgery
For every recorded walk during the 2024 season, Major League Baseball player Tony Kemp will donate $50 to cure treatable blindness in the world.
A long-time supporter of causes like environmental activism and racial and social justice, Kemp has frequently been recognized for his work within the community and his upstanding character, most notably having been nominated four times for MLB’s prestigious Roberto Clemente Award, an annual award which honors players for their positive contributions both on and off the field.
Cure Blindness Project is excited to again partner with Kemp and have him share our work with his fans.
Kemp began tying donations to his plays on the field during the 2023 season.
I'm excited to again support Cure Blindness Project this season. It's easy to take our vision and easy access to vision healthcare for granted, but there are many who are not as fortunate, and I want to do my part to help those in need.
