Dr. Sanduk Ruit, Co-Founder of the Himalayan Cataract Project, narrates the trailer of the "Out of the Darkness" documentary by Stefano Levi.
HCP Co-Founders Dr. Ruit and Dr. Geoff Tabin and their team walked for four days with all their ophthalmic equipment to complete this eye doctor "house call" at 9,000 feet in altitude. Villagers suffering from blindness nervously queued up for eye screenings and waited patiently in eye patches after cataract surgery.
