Himalayan Cataract Project Receives Highest Possible Charity Navigator Rating 6th Consecutive Year
Charity Navigator is known as the gold standard in providing donors with essential information needed to give them greater confidence in the charitable choices they make. Earning a four-star rating from Charity Navigator is a great honor.
Each year, Charity Navigator, America's premier charity evaluator, highlights the work of efficient, ethical and open charities. We are proud to announce the Himalayan Cataract Project has earned our sixth consecutive four-star rating.
Receiving four out of a possible four stars indicates that our organization adheres to good governance and other best practices and consistently executes our mission in a fiscally responsible way.
Only 4% of the charities rated have received at least six consecutive four-star evaluations, indicating that the Himalayan Cataract Project is performing at the highest standards.
In the words of Charity Navigator President and CEO Michael Thatcher, "This “exceptional” designation from Charity Navigator differentiates the Himalayan Cataract Project from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust."
