HCP launches search for new CEO
We have some exciting news to share with you. A search is underway for an accomplished and collaborative leader to serve as HCP’s next Chief Executive Officer.
We have partnered with the executive search firm Perrett Laver in this effort. Perrett Laver works globally to identify outstanding leaders for organizations that are solving the world’s biggest challenges and have extraordinary impact in society. More details about the position will be posted on our website in the coming weeks.
Emily Newick is serving as HCP’s Interim Chief Executive Officer while we embark on this search process. Having acted as HCP’s Chief Operating Officer since 2003, she will lead the organization in our efforts to eradicate needless blindness.
Job Heintz will continue to serve HCP as a Strategic Advisor, focusing on our organization’s growth and fostering new partnership opportunities.
Twenty-five years ago, HCP began with a vision of a world free of unnecessary blindness. From our beginnings in the Himalayas to reaching the one millionth sight-restoring surgery in 2020, our mission remains the same: To cure needless blindness with the highest quality care at the lowest cost.
As HCP embarks on our next 25 years, we look forward to working with you toward a shared goal of eradicating needless and preventable global blindness.
On behalf of our staff and board members, thank you for your support and commitment to our mission.
Thank you,
Geoff Tabin,
HCP Co-founder and Chairman
