Dr. Rostov is a cornea, cataract and refractive surgeon based in Seattle, Washington and Global Health Partner and Affiliate Surgeon at HCP Cureblindness. Dr. Rostov received her M.D. and completed her ophthalmology residency at Washington University in St. Louis, and then served as a Heed Fellow in cornea, anterior segment and refractive surgery with Dr. Richard Lindstrom in Minnesota.

As past global medical director at SightLife, Dr. Rostov created curricula for cornea and cataract surgeon education and provided surgical training and eyebank development in LMIC. Dr. Rostov also developed educational programs for training ophthalmic assistants in under resourced countries and teaches ophthalmic mid level practitioners in early diagnosis and pre and post-op care of corneal disease. As an innovator, Dr. Rostov participated in the initial US VISX clinical trials and was the first surgeon in the Pacific Northwest to perform the SMILE technique. She was also the first surgeon to perform and teach femtosecond laser keratoplasty in New Delhi, India.

Dr. Rostov has received numerous awards including the Top 100 Power List for The Ophthalmologist Publication recognizing influential leaders in the world of ophthalmology 2023, 2020, Top 100 women in the Top 100 Power List in 2021, a senior achievement award from AAO and is a 2023 recipient of an alumni award from Washington University School of Medicine for her contributions in global health. She serves on several AAO and ASCRS committees. She is a complex cataract surgery CRST section editor, OSN cataract editorial board and is on

numerous editorial review boards. She has delivered hundreds of national and international presentations and courses and created a curriculum for teaching keratoplasty techniques and post operative care in LMIC.

Dr. Rostov enjoys swimming, running, cycling, snowboarding, SUP, cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
